The first Jazz Tonic of 2011 was magnificent!
It was the U.S. debut of the moody and beautiful Annabel (lee) Quintet. A wonderful performance featuring percussion, stand-up bass, keyboard, acoustic guitar by Richard E. and the etherial vocals of Annabel (lee). The night was hosted by MC Prefyx with poetry by AK Toney and Lotuspetal. DJ sets by Lotupetal, Softcore, Mixmaster Massey, Richard E. and DJ Ghostlyon. Throughout the night saxophonist Allen jumped behind a mic for some Jazzy accents over the beats and rhythms bumped by the DJ's!
